Allied operates through three Business Groups: Engineering Services (water and wastewater purification, thermal treatment, gas purification); Recycling (petroleum and petrochemical wastes); and Gasification (BGL).

In each of our businesses, we either have achieved or are targeting to achieve world leadership in the respective niche markets. In each case, the leadership is based on a proprietary innovative technology. We grow organically, by adding capacity and new applications, and through acquisitions.

Headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania, we operate primarily on both sides of the Atlantic (in North America and Western Europe). The ability to operate cross-Atlantic is an important element of our value creation process.

In addition, Allied maintains a co-investment relationship with the Safeguard International Fund, L.P., a private equity fund with total capital commitments of $370 million, investing in global industrial and advanced technology companies.
