Allied Syngas Corporation (ASC) was created to develop, own and operate discrete projects utilizing the BGL technology. ASC’s initial market penetration strategy is to establish a market for the “BGL 1000” (a nominal 1000 MMBTU/hr or 1000 tons per day of coal gasifier), the baseline product that can provide syngas “over the fence” for a variety of industrial, brownfield and repowering applications, where we believe there is no competitively sized alternative. Longer term, the BGL process may be employed in greenfield power plants, pipeline grade natural gas projects (or synthetic natural gas – SNG) and specialty chemical production or transportation fuel applications.
